Check out where your dollars will go when you donate to "Team Teddy" for the "Teddy Fund"...and thank you to those who have donated so far- we appreciate this as we pedal our hearts out for the animals http://www.nacanet.org/.

Thanks so much for the comment. Yes, local Animal Control Officers are most certainly allowed to accept scholarships, this will increase and enhance their education for the betterment of all. I will be posting a new e-alert about the event, this will talk about some of the participating agencies. I thank you for your wishes of success as "Team Teddy" rides the Santa Fe Century to enhance education for our ACO's. I understand that you cannot participate but would you be so kind to forward the message that we need donations in order to send our Animal Control Officers to school to enhance their education. Hi, Randi. With animal control agencies being part of local law enforcement, are they allowed to accept these scholarships? If so, have any local NM agencies done so? I'm certainly happy to see anything that helps any aspect of policing help  animals. I can't participate but wish great success to the cause.
