This fun play-and-learn class for you and your puppy combines on-leash training time and off-leash socialization in a safe and supervised environment. Learn how to read basic body language, and discuss common puppy challenges such as nipping, appropriate play, chewing, barking, and jumping. Discussions will include management tips for your puppy’s environment while you are away from home, crate training, bite inhibition, the importance of early socialization, nutrition, how to prevent resource guarding and more. Through positive reinforcement techniques, beginning basic manners and obedience such as name recognition, attention to owner, sit, down, polite greetings, wait, loose leash walking and recall (come when called) will be introduced. A great way to lay the foundation for you and your pup to develop good habits together!
