Event Description

C.H.A.C.O.'s Recall - Come When Called, Snake Avoidance and Finding Your Puppy's On & Off Switch training classes are coming this March!  Below are the details. If interested, sign up now as these tend to book fast.

RECALL – Come When Called:

Some of the most fun reasons for having a dog in our lives is to watch them do what they do best: Run at full speed, chase balls or swim, play off leash with other dogs and having our dogs come to us when we need them to do so!

In this semi-private course you will learn techniques that, when practiced with consistency, will teach your dog to mind you in all sorts of distracting environments. You will also learn how to use your dog’s natural behaviors to your advantage. Your dog will learn to “check in” with you more in new and fun environments and to be more responsive to your cues for attention and play.

Dates & Times: Five-week class, Tuesday, March 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th 2016 from 3-4pm

Snake Avoidance Training The Positive Way!

After a number of client’s requests to help avoid a possible snakebite, I am offering a class that will increase the chances of your pup avoiding the snake in the first place. Can we really teach a dog to avoid a snake?

If you train your dog often by following a science based and structured protocol, your dog clearly stands a much higher chance of moving away from a snake.

Dates & Times:  Saturday, March 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th, April 3rd and 16th from 11am-12pm (no class on April 9th)

Finding your Puppy’s Off & On Switch

Just like a good exercise program, puppies can keep us young. Puppies, of course, are so much more fun! However, puppies also require ongoing attention and care and that in itself can make for a very lonely and exhausting enterprise. One of the biggest challenges new puppy parents face is finding ways to mentally stimulate their puppy so that the puppy learns to take a break from the action and settle down.

Dates & Times: Saturday, March 12th, 19th and 26th from 9:30 am – 10:15 am (45 minute class)

Get ready and let us do the training, so that you can enjoy your dog!
