I have recently moved to Santa Fe and have been impressed with the genuine love the city has for animals. I have worked with children and adults in the past -- helping them to write stories about things that are meaningful to them. Recently, along with a woman who is a professional writer, I have begun a business focusing on helping people tell the stories that are important to them. Many times these take the form of personal histories. My partner and I not only help people write their stories, but we also take the stories a step further and edit, format and publish the books so that the story teller is rewarded in a meaningful way. Their books become part of family lore and legacy and are passed on, often celebrating loved ones, family and friends. It occurs to me that this would be a wonderful experience for pet owners who have lost a pet or who have simply wanted to celebrate and share their memories and stories about beings that are life changing. Making those stories permanent, published treasures is a wonderful way to celebrate and share. I was wondering what some of you think of this idea? Interesting?
