here are some community resources that might help Virginia and Gus:
-Open Hands Thrift store (next to the Pantry) distributes free pet food
-Bienvenidos which is a block away on 5th street distributes food and has clothing - all free.

There is a wonderful woman I met at the SF Animal Shelter named Virginia. She came in one day, desperate to get some help for her older Labrador mix, Gus.
