Hey all, it's me, Morgan, super service dog of Alice Lee and blogger for many years..... If you click on my photos you will see me. This is probably the last time I am writing here, although Alice created her own website (aliceroselee.com) and she has allowed me to blog there. I am no longer in my old man body. It was tough saying goodbye to my humans. I will miss them lots. For nine years I was Alice's service dog. Then she got me a new job as a certified pet therapy dog. I went to schools and…See More

Hey all you scoopers out there. My local dog friend and I were talking, and we discovered that several dogs(who almost never get sick) had diarrhea and stomach problems, all about the same time, about the first week in June.

Any body report having a sick animal then?

With the human food, tomato/spinach scare, we are concerned. I predict that soon we won't have an option not to grow our own food. (that's two negatrives.)

Oh Alice, I am sorry we missed this occasion!! I just signed online and saw you left us a message. DAng!! My direct email is micheleelys@netzero.com. We had a little bit of a difficult day on the phone due to a glitch that came up yesterday. And we are looking at adopting another Heeler that looks exactly like Sade. A companion for Sade for it is time for me to go back to work. Sorry MicheleElys

Hi Alice & Morgan,
OK, please explain why San Marcos & Arabians; how this is the fit for meeting?? Since I have been here as of September, there are yet all the places for me to discover and really say we have favorites. For low key, it has been Harry's, but meeting people has involved a plethora of places. San Marcos cafe is only 1.5 miles from my house.
I think we as humans have a long ways in accepting how much the animal kingdom does for us. I have my views, sometimes they are far reaching and I am cautious with whom I speak of my findings.
Enjoy your gardening, I wish I had one, but in the future it is coming again. For now, I am happy (for this second grin) just to have landed in a nice clean place with my entire fur family. MicheleElys

Dear MicheleElys,

San Marcos is one of my favorite places to meet our friends who have the Arabians. Maybe we can meet there someday soon! Right now everything is so whirlwind, going out every night and day it seems.
Isn't this weather wild?
I agree with you and animals as healers. They ground me too. My plants want warmth! Tomaotesd especially, not planted yet but hardening off. Happy trails, Alice and Morgan

Good Morning Alice & Morgan,
I am off of Hwy 14 across from San Marcos; living without my animals is never an option! They are my only family and I have discovered, over time and study that animals bring more to our lives than we can ever be grateful for. Not only, in my opinion are they higher in reverence & intelligence, but great healers.
I had a friend that was given a death sentence of cancer; she took it upon herself to survive, write two books on the healing of animals and lecture around the nation. I guess I am in her position (sort of) now. Her name is Susan and the first book was (if I remember it correctly) Animals, Teachers & Healers.
I love wine tastings!! Thank you for writing in return. MicheleElys

Dear Alice & Morgan,
Good friends that make you laugh are the golden ones and best to devout ones time completely to them.
Oh Enjoy!! Your cats are great, well fed and obviously content, Happy Buddha Felines.
You do sound incredibly busy and happy, I will not bother you with any other invites, but you are very welcome. I love to entertain, although this little house where I landed, temporarily, is just that small. So all entertaining is less than 12 - but with lots of good food and interesting people and laughter.
I have been a red-head all my life with an unusual first name that is French; MicheleElys. My mothers name was harder to keep straight.
Have a wonderful time with your laughing friends and all the good that you give to others.
I wish you Smiles: MicheleElys

Dear Alice & Morgan,
Today I was in ARK to meet with Dr McCall, I saw your flyer. I think you are a most amazing lady that I have never met. I thought I took the correct phone number down, but it did not work.
I am having a small brunch on Sunday and would love if you & Morgan could come, that is if you are not already booked. This way you could meet another Arabian lover, besides your friend in Stanley. Best Regards MicheleElys

Hi Alice & Morgan,
I fell in love with your picture when you joined, long ago. It was one of those shots that just bring tears of joy to ones eyes, longing for the love that exudes.
I have a Blue Heeler named Sade, 2 Arabian geldings - SriZhada & KlassicAmir and 2 cats, Wiyaka'Sak (Lakhota for White Feather) and then an X-barn cat - Sammie Kewl Kat.
Recently I lost a bird, a rare bird, Peking robin whom I had for 10+ years. His song was exquisite and he is so missed. Each morning when he would just hear a rustling of the sheets he would begin to sing and i would whistle in return. It was wonderful.
I do believe all our fur family are service companions, in some way or other. For me I would not have stayed on this planet if it was not for them. It's time to go feed my beautiful horses.
PS: Sade & the Arabians are on the picture run. Sade is a solid Blue Heeler - black & grey and the 2 Arabs can be seen with a strong run off.
I see you asked about Sade's breed: she is an Australian Blue Heeler - natural dock tail. That means she has a nub for a tail when she was born. There is another heeler which is called a red heeler, and many time these dogs are mixed, blue & red. they are great!! And so intelligent.
Thanks for writing! Can't wait to meet you someday!!!!
Please excuse my perpetual novice like computer skills; I am still learning after 35 years of being on computers. And to think I use to write cobalt LOLOLOLOL dang do I feel eternally dumb.
