Vigil Against Breed Specific Legislation in Santa Fe.
A candlelight vigil against breed-specific legislation was held at last night at Atalaya Park in Santa Fe.
Randi Gerzofsky-Bildner, my friend and fellow advocate, said the event was meant to coincide with a massive vigil in London. In England, many canine breeds, including pit bulls, are banned outright.

Network for Pet Care People
Six months ago I started a group for good Pet Care People who live in the City of Santa Fe or surrounding areas. We meet once a month to share stories and and experiences with others who have established their own businesses. Julie L said… - I love the renting goats idea! 2 years ago I posted a need to rent goats on Craigslist to eat the weeds in my lower yard that isn't landscaped. I got a guy from Velarde who drove his 3 goats to my house and they stayed for a week and ate a lot of weeds! Those goats were so sweet! They wanted to hang with me - I didn't realize how social they are. After the recent rains the kochia is back with a vengence - I could use those goats again!
