Overnight Pet Care

There seems to always be risk in keeping animals. What do you do to make sure the animals are covered while in your care. Do you require them to have some sort of Short term health insurance or Trave…

canine epilepsy

I am not sure. I would think that a vet would be in order. Do you have Medical insurance on your dog? I know that we tend to avoid the vet to keep from paying bills.

Big Dog Eating a Corn Cob

I had a friend whose dog ate a corn cob. He had to take it to a university vet to have it removed. The surgery cost him more than $5000. I would bet that he wished he had Medical insurance on his dog.

Dog Show Booths

It is so funny to check out the Event tent area of dog shows. They have all kinds of cool stuff! There was one that had only Pink accessories. I thought it would be nice to get feedback on some of the unique or funny booths that you guys have seen at dog shows. Comment here to share your experiences.

Dogs Helping the Sick

I have been thinking about the way that pets are used to help those having surgery. When my son had a procedure last year, they used a dog to help calm him down so they could start the IV. I think it is great how animals are used in this way. To see a child who is scared to death because he is having Heart surgery crack a smile is worth its weight in gold.
Use more animals in this way!

Taking a Pet to Europe

We are considering taking our cockapoo to Europe. She has a number of health problems and we were wondering what sort of medical care would be available there. We also received a Travel insurance quote in case something happened in transit. Do you know what a fair price might be for a two week trip?

You're wasting people's time with your spam posts. Every time you add a post, the blogger has to look at it to see if you have some useful information to offer. And you never do. It's all focused on your medical insurance garbage. You're involved in dozens of other Ning sites and should concentrate your 'efforts' elsewhere. Spend some time, why don't you, on seeing if you can convince those beer drinkers that they've got a need for whatever it is you're spamming about.

Cindy, all your posts relate to insurance. Do you sell insurance? Can you even sell to people in New Mexico when you're in Georgia, or is it some internet thing?

By the way, did you ever take that trip out of the country? My guess is it was just another way to promote your business. My apologies if I'm wrong, but it's all very suspicious.

I certainly agree with Shari on this one. If the dog already has health problems, why stress it out by making it sit in an airplane? There are WONDERFUL in-your-house pet sitters available here in Santa Fe, if you need a recommendation I can certainly share the name of mine with you.

Hi, Cindy. Since I can't actually answer your questions, I'm leaving a note here in 'comments'. Personally, I'd be uncomfortable taking a pet on such a trip. Due to the doggie's health problems, you might want to talk to your vet before you do any more planning, just in case he/she feels the dog shouldn't travel at all. I think there are lots of preparations required and the USDA has requirements as well. Perhaps finding a vet-tech caretaker person to pet sit for those 2 weeks might work out better? Good Luck. Shari
