I wanted to share this information with everyone in case it might be helpful to someone.
We live on ten glorious acres down Highway 14. Nature here is at its best.
However, we had been having a problem with packrats digging holes right by our front door and also…

Española shelter needs blankets
The Española Valley Humane Society has put out a plea for blankets to keep dogs warm in their crates. The shelter is cold and drafty. Any clean blankets will do, staff members say.
Blankets can be dropped off at the shelter in Española or at the shelter’s thrift store, Barkin’ Boutique, next to Jinja at the DeVargas Center in Santa Fe. A volunteer also has offered to collect blankets at a south-side drop-off point, Toy Auto Man,…

Thank you Claudia for all you do in helping reunite owners with their pets. Eldorado Animal Clinic is always happy to help!

Hi Claudia -- am so happy to be a member of Santa Fe Scoop -- what a great service this is! Thank you for your help in my search for Zen, the missing Maltese. Just keeping my fingers crossed and praying he turns up somewhere...
HI Claudia! I think I posted a message last night about a dog I found. Did it go through? He's such a sweet guy, I'm sure he belongs to someone. No collar but I will get him scanned today. A black lab/border collie type, maybe 40 lbs, with a white chest and speckled front left paw. He was sitting in the round about at Siler and W. Alameda at 10pm last night.

Her name is Pam Schaffer, a FB friend of Cindy's who had seen a picture of Gracie and wanted to paint her. She is an artist who does this for a living, in Florida, I think. She has done some for Cindy of Ginger, Nova, and Murphy. She really captures their personalities!
Thanks for the welcome, Claudia! Can't believe its taken me this long to get it together to get on The Scoop! :)
