Bella Rose is a med/lg size pit bull, fem, brindle and white. We think she is 2ish years old. She is spayed and UTD on all shots. Bella is an active dog who gets along well with other dogs her size or larger. She is sweet and compliant in training, walks well on a leash. Loving and affectionate with people of all sizes. Would do best in a home with active, attentive, dog-savvy people who are willing to include this dog in the everyday life of the home and travel.

The Gallup McKinley County Humane Society is reaching out to Santa Fe for help! They are slammed and their euth rate is 75% right now! They are asking us if we can absorb some of their dogs into our rescue organizations. The point of contact is Sena Fitzpatrick at .

Where do I start....

I work with mostly big dogs. 40+ pounds and up. I do get smaller ones, but try not to keep them at my home because the mix is not always "safe". I seem to end up with "needy" dogs and, until they even out, they can be reactive. But even if I have to keep a dog several months, I (so-far) have had great luck with rehabbing and re-homing.
