Chablis: vacation

I am a Santa Fe dog so never knew there was an ocean! The first day was pretty scary, but soon I made friends on the dog beach and then there was no stopping me. One day there were whales spouting. I loved everything about Santa Barbara and hope we go back. Well, I didn't like was the plane trip. There was an empty…

Chablis: trip

The red backpack in the hall is mine! I hope Judith didn't forget to take some toys. We are getting away from the Santa Fe junipers.

I am not sure what  junipers are, but maybe that's the reason I'm sneezing.

Yesterday, I…

Chablis: Sad news

My dearest friend and companion for three years was put to sleep yesterday. Chutney was 13-and-a-half which may be a good age for a dog, but she was always a puppy to me: following me around, nuzzling, playing outside. But, we never stole each other's food!

Judith, Philippe and I are very, very sad. Soon I hope we will only remember the good times. For now, we are happy that Chutney is not in pain and are sure she is  peacefully sleeping in dog heaven.
