We started the workshop with a brief introduction to the method followed by an explanation of the Tellington Ttouches and ground exercises and their uses. I followed that with an explanation of the equipment we use and why TTouch is a training method and my role using it.

We gave a workshop/clinic this past Saturday at TecaTu in Sanbusco Market. A lovely woman, Barbara, came with a book she wrote 20 years ago in which she mentioned Linda Tellington-Jones and her Animal Ambassadors program. What fun! Anyway, it was a great clinic and thanks go to TecaTu and Sanbusco for a fabulous afternoon.

In Memory of Spirit O'Donoghue 4/3/2000 - 2/21/2010

"yes, to dance beneath the diamond sky with one hand waving free."Since I live in Nambe now, I mostly go to Valley Vet... with David Krogdahl, Barbara Swanson, Kathy Brooks and another woman vet whose name escapes me. I really like those guys too.
Poor Spirit... a fractured elbow must be very painful... especially for such a big guy. But couldn't they put a cast on him pretty easily?
Are you knew to this area? Which vet did you take Benny and Spirit to? How is Spirit getting around with his elbow problem? Poor guy...
Do you have any other pooches now? I lost my 14 yo Shepherd/collie mix last October and as hard as it was, having other pooches around eased the pain so much... so just wondering.

No I have not spoken to anyone. I am looking forward to the class :}. I have a book and been reading it and trying it out on my roommates dog - but she is so mellow - I don't know if it works. I have an aggressive pit bull that I walk - I would like to use the technique on the dog.
