Thanks, Ben, I'd be happy to elaborate.

We started the workshop with a brief introduction to the method followed by an explanation of the Tellington Ttouches and ground exercises and their uses. I followed that with an explanation of the equipment we use and why TTouch is a training method and my role using it.

I teach private clients, but I also work with trainers to support them with their clients. I don't teach group classes so I'm not in competition with other trainers but here as support. I…

Saturday Workshop/Clinic

We gave a workshop/clinic this past Saturday at TecaTu in Sanbusco Market. A lovely woman, Barbara, came with a book she wrote 20 years ago in which she mentioned Linda Tellington-Jones and her Animal Ambassadors program. What fun! Anyway, it was a great clinic and thanks go to TecaTu and Sanbusco for a fabulous afternoon.

In Memory of Moose 2001 - 2010

Moose was not only a Therapy dog, bringing joy and comfort to residents of retirement homes, patients in hospitals & children in schools, but he was also my Rescue Embassador, Teacher, and Guardian. You are sorely missed, my friend.

To call him a dog hardly seems to do him justice, though in as much as he had four legs, a tail, and barked, I admit he was, to all outward appearances. ... But to those who knew him well, he was a perfect gentleman.”

Invitation to all animals and their companions !

Does your dog or cat exhibit shyness, fear of thunder & loud noises, car sickness, jumping up, leash pulling, aggression, anxiety, performance or aging issues? Is he/she in pain or recovering from surgery or injuries? Would you like your horse, pig, or donkey or alpaca, etc. to listen to voice commands, trailer easily, or be more social? Do you want your animal companion, of any species, to be better behaved & have a stress free life?

There is one more star in the sky tonight. And even though it's far away, its brightness and warmth still reach us here to make the night a little less dark.

Hi Jessica... Wow, so much for bedside manner... jeesh. I use two vets... my first veterinarian when I moved to SF in 2002 was Mike Dobesh at Smith's Vet... he is great. They do state of the art work at Smith's, eg they do lots of blood and urine tests in house ... they have the AVA Hospital certification... and are the only vet in SF with that... but they are also a little pricey... but they do excpetional work.

Since I live in Nambe now, I mostly go to Valley Vet... with David Krogdahl, Barbara Swanson, Kathy Brooks and another woman vet whose name escapes me. I really like those guys too.

Poor Spirit... a fractured elbow must be very painful... especially for such a big guy. But couldn't they put a cast on him pretty easily?

Are you knew to this area? Which vet did you take Benny and Spirit to? How is Spirit getting around with his elbow problem? Poor guy...

Hi Caril, Our visit to the vet was not great, though I suppose it could be worse too. Benny has bad teeth & a staph infection & Spirit has a fractured elbow. The vet said, "If money is an object I would spend it on the Chihuahua rather than the Mastiff." I suppose honesty is a good thing, but.......aren't there any good vets here? We met Carol Stewart, DVM at the EC with Moose, and she is amazing but she only does emergency work. Who do you use?

Wow... opposite ends of the size spectrum... sending Good thoughts to both Benny and Spirit... I'm really hoping it is nothing serious for them... you definitely don't need any more sadness this week. Let me know how it goes pls.

Glad I could help a little Jessica. Moose sounds like he was a truly phenomenal guy and you must have been so bonded with him.

Do you have any other pooches now? I lost my 14 yo Shepherd/collie mix last October and as hard as it was, having other pooches around eased the pain so much... so just wondering.

Hi Jessica, I wasn't sure if you got my last posting (I think I might have posted on my own page). Anyway, I would like to still attend a session with you, so just let me know when it will work. Also, I will call you about coming to one of my schools. We are having a presentation at one of my schools on Friday by the Shelter. Talk to you soon.

HI Jessica:
No I have not spoken to anyone. I am looking forward to the class :}. I have a book and been reading it and trying it out on my roommates dog - but she is so mellow - I don't know if it works. I have an aggressive pit bull that I walk - I would like to use the technique on the dog.
