Lobby Day, February 25, 2013

In spite of the horrible weather (everything in Santa Fe was covered in a thick sheet of ice and major highways were closed) there was an overflow crowd attending Lobby Day this year.I will start at the end, because that is when David Card and his dog, Taffy, appeared at the podium. Bit Warmer

Who wants to take an icy cold bit in his mouth? Not this horse. Since his comfort is important to me, I created a bit warmer. It consists of a hot or cold comfort pack that I picked up at a drug store and an insulated bag designed to keep food hot or cold. (See photos)…See More

Lobby Day, February 25, 2013

November, 2012 at The Horse Shelter

We had some beautiful sunny days at the beginning of the month so here are photos of horses with their human friends enjoying the weather. I have also included a photo of Sage in her new home.

There is one sad story to tell this month. The thin brown horse did not survive. On a brighter note Tibor (who was very thin and sad looking just a couple of months ago) has become a robust and magnificent fellow.…
