What kind of pet do you have and what's his or her name?
I currently live with three rescued pooches. Li'l Teddy Lew is a nine year old pit bull boy. I rescued his mother when she was pregnant with Teddy and his eight siblings from the streets of New York, where I lived at the time. He is an incredible ambassador for his breed: loyal, wise and wonderful. He has inspired me to become an animal advocate and a professional writer with a focus on animal issues. He is also the inspiration behind my website, thebullybeat.org.
His sister, a chocolate Lab named Lily-Belle, was rescued in Miami when I lived in Florida. She is 4 years old and very true to her breed. The only thing that rivals her unbridled energy and appetite is the amount of love that fills her being, in other words, she is all-lab-all-the-time.
Here in Santa Fe, Sugar Bear (my roommate’s girl,) joined our family. Sugar Bear is another pit bull rescue. Her even temperament and loving ways are very inspiring; they keep me on track as I continue my fight for pit bulls and other misunderstood "breeds."
Most recently, I joined the new Eldorado Dog Club, the (EDC.) There I hold the volunteer, Publicity Chair position. I would like to invite all in the Eldorado area to become members of our new group. As of this posting we meet the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm at the clubhouse in Eldorado.
PLEASE attend our Vigil in Santa Fe tomorrow evening, July 24th at 7:30pm. No need to bring candles we will have for all. If you wish please bring poems and/or stories about your beloved animal… Continue
In honor of Li’l Teddy Lew an ambassador for all wonderful dogs... Please join the vigil against Breed Specific Legislation! Make sure to watch the important video at the end of the post; all with doubts as to how unfair and dangerous BSL really is will most certainly change their minds.
Please pass this on to ensure the survival of the dog!
Hi Randi,
It's Brandi from the gym. I finally found you after some searching. I think I might have given you an incomplete email address today. There's a 1 after the bnmwr. Just wanted to let you know.
I haven't checked out the whole site yet, but what I've seen so far looks great.

Hi Randi!
It was wonderful to meet you on Sunday. I look forward to tomorrow's meeting,
and seriously getting involved. Here is a photo of a Snowdog I sculpted in our front yard the last "big snow" on Good Dog Mountain. My other dogs are alive!

I knew I'd love what I do, but have have never felt happier and what's more, that my work is keeping the animals comfortable and happy about their experience too.
The only pet that is mine is the small white dog, Tia. All the others are the pets that I have "met" through my Pet SItting. I have a great business and all my experiences thus far have been interesting and rewarding. At the end of December I face the biggest challenge yet. I will be staying at a family's home for 4 days. They have 3 horses, one mule and 3 dogs. Glad I started a diary!
