Lulu is a beautiful dog. I would love to have her but just can't in my situation. It breaks my heart, though. I hope someone will give her a forever home soon. Gracie went through a few foster homes before I brought her home, and I know what they ...

My dog named Happy is buried at the dog park...in January of 2000...so this got my attention. Your doggie is the perfect match for foster dog Lulu!

Thanks, Claudia. Me too! My little miracle doggie. What a fun traveling companion she is.

Every time you post a photo of Gracie, it makes my heart smile, Bill, because of how close you came of never seeing her again...I will be forever grateful that she is home again!

this simply makes me smile every time I watch it. Kinda like that video I posted way back when of the bear in the forest scratching his back on the tree. Simple pleasures!!

Gracie Goes Golfing

I was asked to join my friends Scott, Bruce, and Kirk for a round of golf this morning, but I really wasn't ready to leave Gracie by herself. Her recent saga didn't really help her "separation anxiety" which she has had since she was a pup.
Well, who would have known that Black Mesa Golf Course was dog friendly, at least this morning. Not many people were there, we were first to tee off, and they allowed Gracie to come right along with us.
She would sometimes run next to the golf cart and someti… Continue

Kuranda Bed

Well, I spend so much time alone that it appears as if I don't know how to interact with people very well.
It has been brought to my attention that I didn't let Gracie's Angels know that Gracie bought a Kuranda Bed and donated it to the Santa Fe Humane Society as a show of appreciation for all the Angels.
You wouldn't let me buy you lunch to show my appreciation, so she just stepped up to the plate when I didn't know what else to do. I tell you she is just an incredible loving dog.… Continue

Another Gracie Update

I went back to the neighborhood where she was spotted this morning to try and locate her before the thunderstorms hit. I met a woman who said she saw her yesterday. That she has a small dog who sits at the front window checking things out and Gracie came right up to the window and was playing with her little dog. The man who saw her this morning is a neighbor to her, directly in back of her house, and saw Gracie in the corral near the back of this same woman' house!
So 2 sightings in 2 days at t… Continue

Hey Bill ---- I think it's pretty comical that you have very few "friends" on Scoop! (one to be exact) -- Wow! I REALLY thought you had more friends than that. :-)

Don't rely on my search, but a few hours ago I did check all the ABQ, ESP, SF, and Pueblo Shelters for ALL dogs that were listed as LOST on Petharbor since 7/2 and none looked like Gracie, yet.

Bill -- just wanted to make sure you see this:

I also wanted to add I like PetHarbor for finding dogs more than the Shelter websites because you can see the date the dog was logged into the system and sort by date. You can check all the local Shelters at once and select breed, sex, age. http://www.petharbor.com/ http://www.petharbor.com/

this is probably a dumb question, but have you contacted the SF shelter to see if she's on their "found" list?

If you create the email, I'll have it sent to the 300 or so people on the local email list. Somebody is BOUND to know where she is! Send the email (with a pic) to Annieokl@aol.com or me at croper56@gmail.com. I can't believe you haven't found her yet. so depressing.

This alert will also be going out in the morning on the local Madrid/Cerrillos/ Lone Butte email list. Good luck. We'll be keeping our eyes open for her.
