Who wants to take an icy cold bit in his mouth? Not this horse.
Since his comfort is important to me, I created a bit warmer. It consists of a hot or cold comfort pack that I picked up at a drug store and an insulated bag designed to keep food hot or cold. (See photos)…Continue

Chutney and I had a wonderful time at Christmas, but then Chutney got really sick and I worried so much. She is better, but at 13 and a half, Judith explained that she is very old. I don't care: we still love to nuzzle and have our private way of talking.
Hasn't it been cold! At least I have a lot of fur to keep me warm.
Even though it's a little late" Happy New Year".

Fully vetted, friendly and sweet. Will benefit from some training polish, very responsive and wants to please.

Española shelter needs blankets
The Española Valley Humane Society has put out a plea for blankets to keep dogs warm in their crates. The shelter is cold and drafty. Any clean blankets will do, staff members say.
Blankets can be dropped off at the shelter in Española or at the shelter’s thrift store, Barkin’ Boutique, next to Jinja at the DeVargas Center in Santa Fe. A volunteer also has offered to collect blankets at a south-side drop-off point, Toy Auto Man,…Continue

Paz came home today after running away on NYE (probably scared by fireworks). He walked up to the door and cried. He is fine and is fast asleep. Thank you everyone for looking for him and keeping the vibe alive.…Continue
I lost Paz New Year's Eve. He was last sighted on January 4 less than a mile from home. Unfortunately he is not coming home so I am depending on someone to grab him. He is a friendly dog although he does bark. He doesn't like hats or sticks. I am sure he is hungry so if you have a treat, that might work. He is white with a black head and big black spots on his body. 65lbs. Thank you so much for keeping an eye out for him.…Continue
