3 Months - No Sign of Xena

I have lost 3 dogs in the past 8 months.  One to a rapid onset of ravenous cancer; one after 16 years of living a great life; and Xena who ran away after being spooked at the Frank Ortiz Dog Park on December 21st, 2014.  There is a BIG difference between losing an animal companion and knowing the outcome and the not knowing.  We still don't know what happened to Xena after 3 months and the lack of closure is hard to endure.  Alot of folks have been following this story, so, I felt compelled…

Coyote attacks

Just wanted to post a warning to anyone who walks the arroyo from Seville/Balboa Road (off of Don Gaspar between Cordova & San Mateo) - this arroyo goes under Old Pecos Trail and then leads you all the way to Museum Hill and the Botanical Gardens. TWO dogs - one a 75 lb. male Doberman and the other a 40 lb. 1/2 coyote female were attacked by two coyotes in the last 2 weeks. The owners were with the dogs and the coyotes came out of no where.…
