Still Missing! We miss him very, very much! Cat from Eldorado

LOST CAT

Have You Seen Da'Babe?

Please Call Shaun (505) 316-1826

My cat is 12 years old and looks mostly like a domestic shorthair and is med-ish in size. I would best describe him as the following... Da'Babe has yellowish eyes with a white ring around them along with a brownish belly. He also appears to have markings that look like a snake starting above his eyes, between ears, down his head. He is wearing a thin purple collar with a bell.

Outrageous!

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/10/24/edwin-frys-poodle-buddy-t_n_773183.html

73 year old Edwin Fry refused to pay a $100 fine to have his poodle Buddy returned to him, after he was apprehended for the second time off leash. Instead he busted his dog out of jail, got put in jail himself and while there his poodle was - euthanized!

We need to protest such reprehensible heartless actions. I… Continue

This Kitten Needs a Home

KIT KAT

This kitten was picked up in a trap outside a bar dehydrated and the man who rescued it was told that other cats had been shot. Too light colored to live as an outdoor cat on a ranch; it would become prey.

A Plea to all Rescues

On Oct 29/30 over 800 mill dogs are going on the auction block in Mexico MO. One of the worst millers is CLOSING DOWN! This is cause for celebration - but the immediate concern is getting as many dogs into rescue as we can. Having them go to another miller and back into the breeding cycle is depressing. These auctions do not sell "cute puppies" to the public - they sell "breeding stock" to other millers.

We don't realize how lucky we are in NM to have so few millers in the state. But… Continue

Do you know this dog?

(Posting this for a lady named Lisa)

We found this dog last Saturday (10/16/10) at Alto/Becentennial Park.

She's a female terrier mix, not spayed.

She is very sweet, loving and well behaved and I can't believe someone isn't looking for her.

I put an ad on Craigslist already and we put some flyers up on Alto St.… Continue
