Sunday Volunteers Needed

Felines & Friends is in urgent need of volunteers willing to clean the adoption center at Petco between 9:30 and 12:30 and have it ready for new cats to start arriving at 12:45pm.

If we get enough new volunteers, the commitment will be no more than once a month and potentially every 6 weeks or so.

Please let Bobbi know if you are interested in helping or know of others who might be.

Celebrate Pit Bull Awareness Day

Pit bulls often get a bad rap. That’s one of the reasons people who own the so-called bully breed and those who try to find homes for them work hard to dispel the myths.

National Pit Bull Awareness Day, celebrated this year on Saturday, Oct. 27, is an effort to raise awareness about the dog and their responsible owners. The Santa Fe Animal Shelter is marking the day with an adoption event with reduced adoption fees, low-cost spaying and neutering for pit bulls and pit-bull mixes, DNA… Continue

Betsy Chai needs a good home

Betsy Chai is a sweet 4 or 5 year old Bay Retriever/Pit Bull mix.  She needs a yard to play in.  She is also a jumper, so I will provide the radio fence I use to anyone who adopts her.  I will install the radio fence for free, if she is adopted locally, and if it is an easy install (they usually are easy).

Someone please give Betsy Chai a good home?  Please see my page for pictures.

Chablis: Vacation

Judith and Philippe went to Ireland so Chutney and I went to the ranch where we were born and spent the first two years of our life. It was really fun to be with Jill and the twenty other puppies and dogs. We played, ate and slept together. We made a lot of noise.

Anyway, as good a time as we had, Chutney and…
