Emma returned home this morning at 5AM; we had left her dog door open all night in the hopes that she would come home. She seemed happy and fine when she came in; I guess we will never know where she was for 16+ hours. We are just grateful to have her back and hope that other people who lost their dogs on July 4th will be reunited soon. Continue

This is all new for me; my dog Emma always stays close to home. Our beautiful 6 year old black/white pit bull got scared this afternoon by the fireworks while she was outside. We live in a little cohousing community (Tres Placitas del Rio) on West Alameda (1710 W. Alameda) and although our property is fenced she could get through the fence if she wanted.
