Anyone know this dog?

Hi Scoop fans,

 

This loving Collie mix followed me clear around the northside dog park off of Camino de la Crucita this morning and then jumped in my truck. I kept asking people if they knew the dog and kept listening for someone yelling for a dog. To no avail. Some people said the dog has been seen wandering around the park the last couple of days. It was hungry but sweet and with a coat and teeth in good condition. No collar or other ID. If anyone knows who the dog belongs to, please contact me: Staci at 470-9843.  Let's help this sweetie find his home.

Hi all,

I've checked SF Animal Shelter and took the sweet boy to the park again this a.m. looking for his owner. He was happily in the backyard with my other dogs afterward, but when I went to check on him half an hour ago he had disappeared. He's very athletic and may have figured out a way to jump the fence. Maybe he heard his person calling for him. I drove back to the park looking for him. Please keep an eye out for him if you go to the Frank Ortiz park this afternoon. I hope we can find him and take him to the vet for a chip scan. Please alert everyone you know to be on the look out for him.

Um also let "us" know if the living arrangements need to be supported....more...like, how long can you keep the dog?

People have been known to dump dogs there.  Sounds like the dog decided where he wants to live. :-)  Please keep us posted!
