The good folks have put up once again decorations to make our dog park more festive for the holidays and they did a wonderful job. The seed and maybe peanut butter filled cones are appropriate animal friendly decorations. Last year I added some of my pups unused toys in to the mix and I want to invite everyone to do the same and hang up something dog friendly that no longer serves your pet, but might be a welcome diversion for another. Would it not be nice to have a colorful diverse and interesting, but useful Christmas Tree that would be dismantled, with toys being exchanged, any time after Christmas!

The red plastic ring was one of the items I brought last year and I am delighted to find again on this year's tree. But after Christmas it is there for the taking.

What a great idea! I'll look through my closet, and if dog park parons don't want them I'm sure a dog at the Shelter would be every so appreciative for a new toy! They need collars too.
