Please be on the lookout for these dogs. Their names are Violet and Daisy, Violet is the mostly black with white throat; Daisy is black with white snouts and chest. They are not wearing collars and are not chipped. They are very friendly and love kids. Violet loves to play ball. We really miss them. If anyone sees them please call Cathy at 505-695-9238 or Christina at 505-695-9481. there is a generous reward for their safe return.

Hi Donna. No the dog found on 285 was definately not Daisy. The colors don't match. But Sloan did have her cremated (in the name of Violet!) and Claudia actually came up with a great idea to make a memorial to the unknown dogs maybe at the shelter, and scatter the ashes there. So many unknown dogs are hit and killed and never claimed.... we can hope by Animal Services now keeping photos there may be some closure for some if a lost dog isn't made know until the dog's body is, well, gone.

Cathy what a joyous reunion picture. Thank you for posting. Our hearts break for Daisy. At least Violet is back where she should be safely with her loving human companions. And what a smile on all.

Violet is home!! We appreciate everyone's support and prayers. Unfortunately animal control is very certain Daisy was killed they day they escaped.

Violet found thanks to eagle eyes of Julie on shelter website. Violet is on her way home tagged and chipped. Daisy unfortunately must have been killed the night of 13 June on Airport Road when the dogs went missing. More to come.
