Foster home needed for litter

We are looking for a temporary foster home for a 1.5 yo F HuskyX mom and her 4 babies that were born in the Las Vegas, NM shelter on 2/22/10. All food, vetting and necessities will be supplied by Siberian Husky Rescue of NM until the pups are weaned and of appropriate age to be adopted. At that time Husky Rescue will take over, have the mom spayed and find forever loving homes for them all. In the meantime, we will be posting them with their availability dates to increase their timely placement. This is a very sweet adult dog & she is a very attentive mommy. They REALLY need to get out of the shelter ASAP to avoid the stress and the potential for them to become sick. I contacted Candace to offer my heated garage and side yard... but she thinks she may have some other options that might work better. I, unfortunately, due to my work load now, would not be able to spend a lot of time with the sweet Momma or the puppies... but at least it would be warm and safe.
Hoping she finds a great temporary home for the little family... maybe with retired folks who can really socialize the babies.
