Grooming Party at Espanola Valley Humane

Love dogs? Don't mind getting a little bit wet? Then come over to our grooming party this Sunday at the shelter! We have some wonderful dogs and puppies who could really use a good brush and a bath. You dont need to be a professional, just be comfortable around dogs and be ready to get a bit messy.

One such dog is Star (pictured above), a beautiful siberian husky who needs about 2 years of undercoat brushed off of her. She doesnt even really need a bath, just someone patient enough to comb out all of that hair!

We provide shampoo, towels and brushes, although if you have any of those that you would like to donate or just let us borrow for the day, we would be happy to take you up on that offer.

People can drop in anytime between noon and 3pm. It will be pretty informal, but just follow the smell of wet dog!
