Holiday Shopping to Help Animals - visit the local thrift stores!

Consider shopping for that perfect gift at your local thrift/2nd hand/resale store where your $$ goes directly to help local animal shelters and pets in need. Donated items are welcome too! They are worth checking out!

Saint Francis de Paws: 219 Riverside Dr (by Dandy Burger and the Hacienda Home Center) in Espanola, 505-753-9178, benefits the Espanola Valley Humane Society

Look What the Cat Dragged In! GRAND OPENING DEC 12: 2570 Camino Entrada (by Kohls) benefits the Santa Fe Animal Shelter (to make donations call 474-6300).
The Santa Fe Animal Shelter also sells new pet items (leashes, toys, some food) at the Shelter (100 Caja del Rio Rd) and at the Satellite Clinic near Kohls (2570 Camino Entrada).

I'm anxious to check out that new one. Too bad they weren't open for Black Friday, being so close to Kohls, but with your help word will spread and I bet they do well.

I was waiting until the shelter's store opening was a little closer ... I think I might do the wrap up for the regular paper for a bit more exposure ...

Thank for posting this information! I buy from and contribute to thrift stores and those that benefit animals are my first choice.
