Another product worth trying is Rescue Remedy. A couple of drops in their water. I've read there is now a RR specifically for pets, without alcohol, but it's ok to use the original RR as well.

I have the long lasting liquid Feliway plugged into the outlet in the room where Joe spends most of his time. It may be helping, but Clarissa's hostility seems to transcend Feliway. When I am home I can keep the fight from escalating, but I am afraid to ever leave the two cats together when I am gone.

Joe sleeps either on top of a tall kitty condo (which is too small for him) or on an office chair so he can watch for the approach of his nemesis. These cats just don't like each other! It is frustrating, because I have rescued so many cats and they always managed to get along.

I have used it many times, I used to have 14 cats at one time (LONG story) and I used it as recently as this year when I adopted my new cat Tula who HOWLED terribly because she used to be an outdoor cat and she wanted OUT...this calmed her down incredibly!
