Listening To Raven at Audubon Opening Night party

Ben, thanks for the column in in Sunday's paper!
Everyone's invited to the opening from 5-7 pm July 9 at the Audubon Center at the top of Upper Canyon RD. The show runs through August 9th.
Listening To Raven ~ Drawings, Myths & Realities is an ongoing exploration of science and spirit. These detailed story drawings, created with pen and pencil, heart and mind, are a vision quest expanded by paying attention to small moments.
Dr. Peter Stacey, a professional ornithologist and riparian management specialist in the Biology Department at the University of New Mexico, graciously wrote this assessment after recently visiting my studio:
"The drawings of Beth Surdut capture the intelligence, playfulness and physical forms of ravens as well as or better than any artist I have seen."
