Nelson (Heeler/Border Collie) is Looking for a Home

Nelson is a 3 year old Heeler/Border Collie mix from the Espanola Animal Shelter, and is in a foster home in Santa Fe.  He is very friendly and sweet.  He knows sit and shake and is eager to please.  In his foster home he has been house trained, gets along well other dogs, and sleeps soundly through the night on a dog bed inside.  He likes to play with mops and likes to be with his person. He will be a very loyal companion to whomever brings him into their home.  His only issue so far is jumping up some on people, but we are working on that.  I'd keep him if I could!  If you would like to meet him please email me.  santafe_julie  @   yahoo

Nelson has been ADOPTED!  By a great young family in Santa Fe.  Nelson and their dog Zia were like long lost siblings when they met at the park.  They played and played and played!
