Santa Fe Scoop

Hi all:

The Las Vegas Optic published an article about Canine Canyon Ranch today. I've already gotten several phone calls thanking me, and got to convince two people to get their dogs fixed (and gave them referrals for getting their latest litters to the right rescues!). I try to never miss an opportunity to educate people about the benefits of spay/neuter.

Check out the story and if you have the time, let the Optic know (505-425-6796) that publishing animal welfare stories WILL get more dogs out of the local high-kill shelter and perhaps even help educate some of the less-than-ideal dog woners out here in our little rural town. Thanks!

Thanks Ben! I didn't hear about the thumbnails (yes-people DO look!) until this morning and our little gas station was out of Sundays leftover papers. Thanks though, its the thought that counts. Let me know when you're ready for me at the top of the list!

Good work, Leslie. Sweet story. Nice to get the word out everywhere. You're still on my list for a profile ... and yes, I did put a photo of your two recent rescues in Scoop. Never sure if people look at everything on that page, but I figured, the more exposure the better.

Hi Leslie... that's good news!

And I don't know if you see the Santa Fe New Mexican, but Ben put a thumbnail photo of the brindle and the Rottie that you rescued on the top of the Scoop page on Sunday.

He's done this for other pooches looking for homes with good success... so here's hoping that between the two mentions in the media... thes and other fur babies will get new homes! Again, thanks for your work in the LV area.
