One year ago today there was celebration amongst Gracie's friends when Gracie was found in Cochiti Pueblo.
What a wonderful story this was!

These pictures are wonderful memories: wish I had met everyone at the time. But what a great group; everyone doing what they could to find Gracie and what a magnificent ending; Gracie and Bill being united. This time will live in my heart forever. Everyone pitched in for what they could do; remembering Kinkos for 100 free fliers, then it rained and be posted more fliers. No one gave up. A great ending to a new beginning. I still remember exactly what I was doing when Claudia called me saying Gracie was found in Cochiti! It was just so unbelievable, but true. What a happy and amazing day, and many of us who helped search still stay in touch and have become friends. Gracie has a way of bringing people together!

Oh, Claudia! Thank you for this!! We are all celebrating this anniversary up here today. she is getting lots of treats and accolades from everyone.
I'm in tears reading this. Thank you all!! Really!! Thank you, thank you. I can't say it enough.
she sleeps next to me in bed at night and when we wake up in the morning and she sees me she smiles and wags her tail and scooches up real close and licks me. I know. It may sound strange to people who aren't so close to their animals, but it is just so rewarding to see how happy she is.
