Prairie help

I was told today by a Mora resident that prairie dogs that are realesed in Mora get shot or as he said, "slaughtered" so it is important to find out which organization is doing this. Thank you for your help!

Anna, I have been paying attention to the Prairie dog plight since Justine passed away.  There are not that many organizations "doing" prairie dogs.....

Good grief! Well, I wish we could figure out which organization is placing prairie dogs in Mora and get them to stop because you may as well leave them here if they are just going to be killed. So sad.

There appears to be a hunting company near Mora that sells guiding hunting trips to shoot prairie dogs, even on public lands.  Shooting for "fun" with no intention to eat the meat.
