Thanks, Shari. I'm pestering them, and checking the shelter several times a day. I'm also checking with the animal control trucks as I see them.
Brenda - there are so many of the Lost My Dogie type services - thank you for the reference because I wasn't sure which one to go with.
You may want to post Scout on Lostmydoggie.com. it is kind of pricey but they put an Amber alert out for your dog. Everyone needs to know - it is important. Brenda Archer
Since dogs are considered property they're probably considered like other stolen property. That's a good idea to hand flyers to the law in your area. In case it becomes necessary, you might also want to make sure you have any documentation on hand that can prove you are Scout's owner. Photos of you with him are good too. Best of luck finding your sweetie. Hope it's real soon.
No more information than a "gold-ish colored Kia or something" that I got from a neighbor. I did make a report but am not hopeful that it is at the top of their priority list. My son and I have handed flyers to every law enforcement person that we see in the area.
Do you have any more ID on the car or driver of the car she was last seen in? Have you notified the police/sheriff?
Thank you, Donna. I have been searching there, and will head over there to look again.
A lot of dogs down in that arroyo that runs parallel to Agua Fria...
