Thanks for your email...I am writing a note to Natalie and enclosing a copy of your letter to me...I have asked her to write what she wants and I will put it on Scoop and Facebook...about all I can do as I have too much on my plate s it is...

OK Shari, now I recall.  I hope the crow is leading a happy life though I am sure he'd rather be our cawing with his friends. Love those big guys....

I have something to toss out to you...Natalie Owings called today with a thought...she is concerned about the building codes in Santa Fe/New Mexico as a whole not having any concerns about birds flying into windows of buildings.  The American Bird Conservancy (which I had not heard of) has published a book- or manual called "Bird Friendly Building Design" and she wonders how we can interest builders to follow some of the suggestions in the manual.  I said I would try to think about ways to do so and the first thing to do is to get the idea out to others...I am starting with you...net working.  I wish I knew how to maneuver  Scoop....haven't yet conquered FaceBook and now I'm on Scoop... A little crazy, me thinks...so I hope this gets out to others as well...

Hello Shari...Thanks so much for your e-mail.  Why don't you send it to the New Mexican in response to mine....the more info about this the more people will be aware of it....and I did not know about the alternative...that is good.!

I am trying to remember the crow rescue...but your name is familiar.

Hi Shari,

I do not relocate venomous snakes but she can call Tom Wyant at 672-1981 and ask him for the people in her area that do rescue. Tom has a network though the Espanola Wildlife Center that will rescue. We are still doing our free educational snake programs. I have 3 in May for the SF libraries and one in June for Kirkland Air Force Base Library. I had to turn a way a few organizations because we can only travel an hour or 2 with a snake filled car.

I'm sorry I have not gotten back to you. I did check out the link and it was not my Ricochet. Thank you for looking, I would like to have him back some day.

Hi Shari,

Thanks for the welcome. Learned about this vet from Craig's list before the posts were taken off. Yes, for all the good that it does, I am still trying to educate people about snakes. We do about one free educational program  a month. We really aren't in demand. I am not sure what people expect for free but I bring about 8-9 different kinds of snakes that you can find around NM. I talk to Jo and Laura Swaltz a couple of times a month and they are busy with the birds, of course. Hope all is well with you:)
