Play Time?

Nita and Max play like this all the time....teeth bared, weird sounds...I have not had many dogs, Rico was my first ever dog, Nita my second and Max my third...they never yelp in pain, they just play like this...is this typical behavior? Is Nita being maternal? Notice Tula Cat sitting in the window, she NEVER runs off when they play like that, I don't think she thinks they are being aggressive?
